Four's
All preschoolers attend from 9:30am-1:30pm. A typical preschool day large group times where daily helper's charts, calendar, and weather is observed, stories are read and Bible verses and Bible stories are discussed. Children have abundant opportunities for play, in the classroom and outdoors that provide occasions for social interaction, exploration of new items and toys, gross and small motor skill enhancement and one on one time with the teacher or assistant teacher.
ICCS follows "Core Knowledge Preschool Sequence" for the academic curriculum which is a superb guideline for skills preschool children should acquire during these emerging years. Books of the week are read and re-read to facilitate language development. Children are encouraged to learn and memorize the Bible verse of the week which follows a story from the Bible. Children are taught God's promises and truth concerning His love for each of them.
Three Day Program
Children must be four by September 30th. This program meets on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9:30am-1:30pm.
